Summit Benefits

  • We offer 4 different health care plans, and Summit pays employee premiums for the basic plan. Summit also contributes toward dependents' medical premiums. 
  • For Dental and Vision, Summit also pays employees' premiums for the basic plans. 
  • Once an employee becomes an Associate, or has been here for 7 years, Summit's contribution for dependent medical increases and Summit pays for dental and vision for the entire family.
  • Summit pays the premiums for a Life Insurance and LTD plan.
  • We work a 9/80 schedule, which means we have every other Friday off!
  • TO/PTO is accured, and equates to 120 hours (3 weeks) the first year, and increasing to 152 hours (close to 4 weeks) the 2nd year. It periodically increases again after that.
  • We have an excellent Employee Assistance Plan, available at no cost to employees. This includes face-to-face appointments, as well as support via telephone and on-line.
  • We have 8 1/2 paid holidays per year. If an "off" Friday and a holiday are on the same day, we move that "off" day so you don't lose the time off!
  • We offer a 401(K) plan (regular or Roth) and Summit contributes a minimum of 3% of salary annually, regardless of employee contributions. 
  • Summit pays the initial membership fee for the nearby Airport Health Club. Employees pay the monthly fee, but are usually reimbursed for half of those fees annually.
